Records the full workflow, not one frame
Every step keeps a before and an after, so evidence shows the setting being verified, not a screen that happened to be open. Auditors get the story, not a single screenshot to squint at.

Install and record in minutes
Step 01
Add to Chrome
Install the Evidence Collector free from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Screenata workspace.
Step 02
Record the workflow
Open the admin console, press Shift+Alt+E, and click through the setting you need to prove. Pause, resume, or grab a single frame as you go.
Step 03
Review and submit
Vera coaches you through anything missing, the vision model scores the capture, and the signed artifact lands in your evidence vault mapped to its control.

A vision model reviews each capture element by element: is it present, is it valid, how confident, and what would make it better. Anything below threshold triggers a retake prompt with specific suggestions, so weak evidence is caught before it ever reaches an auditor.

Freshness lifecycle
Captures enter the same fresh → stale → expired lifecycle as every other artifact. The daily 6:00 AM sweep flags anything approaching 90 days and drafts the re-collection, so a screenshot from last quarter never quietly becomes an audit finding.

Sensitive data is blurred automatically
Secrets and personal data are blurred as you record, and anything else can be redacted by hand, before a screenshot is ever uploaded. Evidence collection shouldn't create its own data exposure.
Nothing leaves the browser until you upload
Captures are assembled locally. You review the recording, redact what you want, and only then does anything reach Screenata.
Tab switches pause recording
Switch away from the console you're documenting and recording pauses automatically, so nothing private is captured by accident.

- Is the Evidence Collector free?
- Yes. The extension is free to install from the Chrome Web Store. Recorded captures flow into your Screenata workspace, which is where evidence is stored, scored, signed, and mapped to controls.
- Which browsers are supported?
- The Evidence Collector runs in Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc. Start a recording with the Shift+Alt+E keyboard shortcut.
- What kind of evidence can it capture?
- Anything that renders in an admin console: MFA enforcement toggles, password policies, access rosters, conditional-access rules, and other settings that live in tools like Google Workspace, Okta, AWS IAM, Microsoft 365, Auth0, and Rippling. It's built for the roughly 9% of controls that APIs can't reach.
- Does my data leave the browser?
- Not until you upload. Sensitive data is blurred automatically, you can redact anything else by hand, and switching tabs pauses recording so nothing private is captured by accident.
